Briefing:
Two young mothers found that there was a lack of fresh, organically-safe, ready-made baby food available and so started their own brand of home-made baby food. Janet&Jacinte allows babies to taste fresh organic baby food. The product range is sold in organic food stores, food retailers and even in selected hospitality outlets. The business’s two founders asked Today to help launch the brand.
Solution:
Today created a name for the new brand and developed a brand identity through the logo, packaging design and web design. The challenge was to embrace the emotions as well as the authenticity of the brand. Janet&Jacinte products are honest. They have just one aim in mind: to allow children to grow up healthily. The visual identity chosen reflects the brand values by using handwritten letters, white space and pastel colours. These provide a clear and easy-to-remember brand image.
