Briefing:
i.materialise is an innovative, rapidly growing company that makes customised 3D prints. The prints can be delivered in a plethora of materials, sizes, colours and finishes. The number of applications is endless and makes it possible to turn individual creativity into 3D reality. The company was looking for a visual identity reflecting their activity.
Solution:
Today drew the idea of customised printing literally from the logo: no fixed design, typography or colour was used. A template was provided for a handwritten customised logo, so everyone can create and upload his own logo. Today has thus created an innovative design that reflects perfectly the mission of i.materialise: a platform and community of individual creativity. The logo versions created and sent are posted on Flickr but also applied on the website, the stationery and other communication materials.
