Broederlijk Delen

Briefing:
”Broederlijk Delen” is a dynamic North-South movement that celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2011. The movement defends the poorest segments of the population in the southern hemisphere against poverty and injustice. The jubilee was a sterling moment to revamp the logo and visual language and in so doing give a signal that the organisation is alive and kicking and will continue to work for better development for people in the South in the future as well.
Solution:
Today developed a logo that reflects the most important principles of “Broederlijk Delen:” the human, not the material dimension, takes centre stage; development takes place in a community – when people cooperate, they produce better results; and the belief in a structural, worldwide approach. These three pillars are organically combined in the logo. The slogan remains unchanged given its high recognition and its continued relevance for the mission. Following from the logo, Today developed a visual language to align all communication statements in a coherent and consistent manner.
